We love multi-generational worship at Guthrie Naz and don't mind the extra "sound effects" that come from our youngest congregants! For parents who are more comfortable letting their littles roam and play during service, we have a nearby "Family Room" where there are toys, games, a rocking chair, changing table, and restroom. The Family Room is equipped with a screen and live feed from the sanctuary so that parents don't miss a moment of worship or the message, and the kids get to hear the Word, too!
As you step into Guthrie Naz for the first time, you can expect a warm greeting, and someone to introduce you to our coffee station and then others who have gathered for Sunday School and Morning Worship. We are a casual congregation, and don't get uptight about formal clothing or structures. Depending on the week, you may experience worship led by our youth or the celebration of communion or special music that helps you draw near to the Father. Regardless of the week, you can be assured you will find people who love Jesus and each other, worship that trains our hearts and minds to focus on the love and holiness of God, and a message that will challenge and inspire to a closer walk with Christ.
Volunteers at Kids on a Mission are trained to create an atmosphere where families can confidently leave their children while they are in service. Every volunteer is screened with a background check and the kids hallway is monitored by security personnel, as well as security cameras. Don't worry parents - we've got this!
Your kids will experience an age appropriate lesson that will teach them about God and His love for them. The teaching is interactive and utilizes multiple approaches for different learning styles.
We're raising up the next generation of world changers to love God and His house!
